Editorial policy
Creative Style Journal aims to make creative choices easier to understand and act on. We distinguish explanation from opinion, avoid claims we cannot support and make clear when a subject has limits.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable source material before publication and write so readers can tell the difference between established information, interpretation and suggestion. We do not present personal preference as a universal rule or promise results from a creative exercise.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity. Payment or a partnership does not buy favourable editorial treatment. Any paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled where it appears, and partner placements are kept distinct from independent editorial coverage.
Corrections and illustrations
If you spot a factual error, use the Contact page and identify the article and passage. We review correction requests and update material when a change is warranted. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where relevant, they are identified as illustrative rather than documentary.
Making is a way of thinking.
A project becomes clearer when you try something, look at what happened and choose the next move. We value process as much as polish.
